I believe that finding a home for you, or selling yours is one of the most important things that I can do.  Your trust in my abilities is an honor that I do not take lightly. I moved here after receiving a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from East Carolina University.  My past experience in construction and design sets me apart from the competition.  I have experienced buying five homes of my own before I turned 40 and have made a great nest egg buying and selling those homes.  If you know me you know my passion for design and construction. Kitchens and bathrooms are my absolute favorite part of the house.  I have worked for three custom builders in my career as the project coordinator, client coordinator and designer. We selected everything from Exterior colors, windows, doors, cabinets, countertops, plumbing, lighting appliances down to door hardware. I know everything about the building process and will use my knowledge to your advantage. If you are selling, I can use my knowledge to help you get the home ready to appeal to the most buyers, and if you are buying I can see issues that you may not notice and help you see the vision on how to make it perfect for you and your family.  I sold new homes for a time and am familiar with that process and what questions to ask and how to negotiate your best interests. I moved to this area after college in December of 2000.  I began my career at Ferguson Kitchen and Bath Gallery and sold plumbing, lighting and appliances. From there I moved on to work for a high end custom builder on Daniel Island where I assisted projects from start to completion in every regard. Specifically, selections, estimating, coordinating and design. We build 656 Coleman Blvd which was one of the first live/ work communities in the area. Next I sold new homes with Eastwood Homes. Then, I traveled Europe through the great recession of 2008 and then moved to Syracuse NY, and then Virginia Beach to continue my showroom consultant position with Ferguson for another 6 years. As I made my way back to Charleston in 2015, I began working with Manorhouse Builders as a warranty and permit coordinator. I found myself longing to work with people again, so I moved over to Eastech Property Development as their project coordinator/ designer. We build beautiful homes in Park West, Dunes West, Hamlin Plantation, and Rivertowne. Lastly before coming to work with Carolina One, I worked for Phillip Smith General Contractor as a client coordinator where we built luxury homes on Isle of Palms, Sullivan’s Island, Captain’s Island and Kiawah River. I am dedicating my career to selling real estate because it encompasses many areas I already have a strong background in and will allow me to fulfill that love of helping someone with their most personal space, their home. This has always been a passion for me so finding you the perfect home, or selling yours is not something I take lightly. In addition, I have many years of experience in the construction and design industries and will also extend to you my knowledge and background to help you through any of those areas. My life changed dramatically as Covid hit us all. I longed for the flexibility that real estate was able to give me to focus on what matters most, my two daughters, Kayla who is 9 and Kensley who is 7.
